These are the ORAL vocabulary cards for the CALIFORNIA Treasures Reading Series SECOND GRADE. I color coded them with a green outline because they are introduced on Day 1 of each lesson, which is also green. I also included a definition of each word for reference for the students.
I cut out each vocabulary word and glued it on green paper and laminated each one, so they would last longer.
Each word has the unit number and week it is introduced to help you organize them as you see fit. I put mine in a plastic sleeve in a notebook for each unit so it is easily accessible when we start a new story. I hope you find them helpful in your classroom.

I have been a teacher in Southern California for 15 years. I have spent the last 12 years teaching first grade and this is my second year teaching second grade. I am loving every minute of it. I have been the Gifted and ELD Coordinator at my site. I am currently the Elemenatry Coordinator at a K-12 Magnet School.
