A blank KWL (Know, Want to Know, Learned)chart for starting a unit on Canada. I like to have the kids put in their own ideas (Tell me everything you know about ____ in 1 minute) and then we add to that as we share ideas. We continue to add to the chart as the unit progresses. Can be done individually or as a cooperative group activity.
