Use this packet of resources to help your students gain familiarity with Canadian Symbols. This unit contains games, posters, worksheets, a book, and mini-booklets for your students to enjoy. A highlight of this packet is the Canadian "I Have, Who Has" game.
The packet is aligned to Social Studies learning outcomes for grade one in British Columbia. Some kindergarten outcomes are addressed as well.
Your students will:
-identify characteristics of different environments from images (mountains, rivers, etc.)

-accurately name Canada as the country in which they live
