This center is created to be played like the very popular Pop! Pop! Sight word game. Students will practice reading phonogram words. This center contains 80 first grade words cards along with cards that say "Yummy!"
Directions:
Students will take turns passing the container around with all the cards. If a student can read the card correctly, he/she keeps the card.
If the student is unable to read the word, a partner will help and the card goes back into the container.
When a "Yummy!" card is pulled, the student will put back all his/her cards.
My kids LOVE to play this game. And changing the design helps keep them interested.
