This is a bundle of 3 games that work on applying rules in addition and subtraction. It seems that everyone calls this something different so this is similar to function machines and to in-and-out boxes. All of these games are for independent practice, allowing for quiet time for you to meet with small groups.
Game 1- Students roll a dice to figure out the rule and then fill out the table using given numbers. If you laminate or place in sheet protectors, students write on the game pieces themselves.
Game 2- Students look at the numbers on the card and identify the rule. A recording sheet is provided.
Game 3- The rule is provided. Students roll a dice to figure out the first addend and then apply the rule to fill out the final table.
