After learning the cardinal directions, students have a ball completing this activity. Using the worksheet, pairs of students will write directions to get the teacher from his or her classroom door to his or her desk. After the students write the directions, each pair takes a turn reading them aloud, while I (the teacher) follow them exactly. It provides lots of laughs, and the students learn and remember the importance of cardinal directions.
