This handout is for students to keep the characters straight (all 49 of them!) in the novel Catching Fire, sequel to The Hunger Games and book 2 of the trilogy.
Room for students to write who the character is, what he/she looks like, notable actions/quotes, and who it reminds them of. An alternate activity for the last column is to have students draw pictures or cast a famous actor/actress into that movie role. Student examples provided.
Also includes a list of the tributes for each district for the 75th Hunger Games (third Quarter Quell).
Teacher's descriptions are included for every single character. Very detailed & thorough. (Twenty page document.)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching at my current public high school for twelve years, and have a total of 16 years experience. Most of my experience is teaching high school English and journalism classes; however, for several years I taught an art history class. I teach all levels--from honors students to special education students; therefore, I'm constantly modifying my assignments to fit my students' needs.
