This is something that I use in my classroom along with a modified version of the "Clip Chart Citizenship" method of classroom management. I print these out on brightly colored paper and cut them apart. If a student is caught doing something good in general had a great behavior day, I will send home one of the caught being good papers (usually on bright, neon colored paper) whereas if they have a difficult day and the parents need to know I will send home the "oh, no note" for them to sign and return the following day. Sometimes this is much easier at the end of the day rather than writing a handwritten note each time!
