This is a Cause and Effect Graphic Organizer that correlates to affects on Self, Community, and the World. This is a great way to expand on important topics such as global warming, the Presidential Election, and other social studies/science topics.

This is a wonderful graphic organizer--very clear and one that the students should be able to repond to with accuracy. However, I am bothered by the misuse of the word "effect." The correct word which you seek should be the verb "affect," (line one..."how it affects you, your family, etc.") Also, within the graphic organizer itself, the correct word again should be "affect" and not the noun "effect" (the result; something brought about by a cause or agent.") Thank you.
