This lesson provides a thorough understanding and history of the Ancient Sumerians. Students will read about the influences and advancements of their religion, government, tools, permanent homes, stable food supply and written language. Students will then examine the causes and effects these aspect of the Sumerians had on them as a civilization. All readings in this lesson are differentiated for lower level and higher level students.
