Celebrations and Brain Breaks for Middle School

This is a great way to have fun and build community in your classroom.

This product has a variety of "Celebrations" and "Brain Breaks" ... 21 pages worth that can be used as a set of 8 ½ X 11 mini posters or kept in a teacher binder.

"Celebrations" are different ways of having the class say ... "Way to Go" to other students! Most involve about 5 seconds of sound or movement. Things like Let's give James an "air guitar for that answer" Couldn't we all use a little time to celebrate and get some encouragement?

"Brain Breaks" are a chance to move and laugh in a classroom. Ideas like turn around in your desk and use your neighbor’s desk. Fun, interesting ways to change the day-to-day routines of the classroom.

We all know middle school students love to move and laugh!

You can post the 8 ½ X 11 printable mini posters in your classroom after they are introduced, the posters will serve as a reminder to the students, and to you about the variety of activities and fun you can have in middle school.

To me, brain-breaks are something in the middle, or between lessons. Most of the brain breaks were to do with where students would sit when entering. I thought middle school brain-breaks would offer more sophisticated ones. This was more with the changing classes protocol and won't meet my needs. I'd like a refund please.
