Students turn a cereal box into their autobiographies! Rather than sitting down and writing a boring essay, the kids are able to "chunk" their material and strategically place it on the cereal box. Boxes can then be displayed for all to see!
This is a fabulous activity to use for the beginning or ending of the school year. It can be displayed on the kids desk for back to school night or open house.

I love your cereal box idea. Do you happen to have a rubric that goes along with it. I plan to use it with my middle school students with special needs as a get to know you.
