This interactive activity is a great way to get students interested in poetry. All of the instructions are on the front of the handout and the template for the poem is on the back. Students select a favorite line from a published poem, then they write their own line, matching the mood of the first line. Then, they pass it on for the rest of the class to add to it. My students love this activity!
