Cells are the basic units of structure and function in living things. Students need to understand that living things are made out of cells. This activity helps students observe cells and record observations about them by looking at the cells from their cheek.

Thank you so much for providing a lab that is so "ready to go". I teach all subjects in middle school, and so I love it when I get something that I don't need to alter at all. I also appreciated that it was in Word, so that I could change anything I needed to. The questions were thought provoking and the directions were clear! Thank you!
