(12 pages) Here is a great way to engage students in a subject that some might dread - chemistry! We have students work in pairs to cut out the twelve (12) different panels of our gigantic (XXL) Periodic Chart of the Elements. Metals, nonmetals, and metalloids can be color coded. We included the 92 naturally occurring elements (Tc & Pm are designated). Cutting and pasting will take about 45 minutes. Double that for coloring. Fun! (This chart is the same as our Chemistry Chart 2, except that the symbols are solid, and element names outlined - vice versa for Chart 2)
