This download contains an outline of designing an experiment. My class is lab intensive, and more often than not, students are expected to design a lab to answer a question. The purpose of this lab is simple--comparing absorbency of different paper towels-- but will allow students to gain experience with the write-up.
Download contains a powerpoint (.ppt) and lab (.doc), and teacher's guide for lab.
This is also available as part of my bundled "Chemistry: Intro to Science Unit Bundle" product.
I enjoyed looking over your lab design download. It's a great way to get the students thinking about how labs are created and also allows them to be creative and innovative in the classroom. In the past I have done something similar but I will be using your paper towel lab in the future.
