I love Christmas time. Christmas and Valentine's are my two favorite times to do holiday themed activities.
Despite the fact that I teach 4th grade and most of my stuff is for third - fifth, every now and then I will get inspired to make something cute for the younger kids that I pass along to my k-1 teacher friends. Some of it ends up in my TpT store like this one.
This is a simple holiday picture. There are arrows and boxes pointing to different parts of the picture. The students will then cut the words and label the picture. By using the beginning sound, the students should be able to identify the word that goes with the picture. They will then color the picture.
This will make a cute center activity. Of course, you can use it in your classroom however you would like.
Don't forget to check out my other activities for the k-1 kids, as I do have several.
