Consider this my little freebie to all of you out there!
I wish you the best holiday season yet!
Below is a journal for your students to complete as they learn about Christmas in different countries, or Christmas Around the World.
There are three cover pages to choose from (depending how much ink you want to save!), as well as 25 country and holiday pages where the students reflect on what they learned about that country and draw a picture illustrating that country in some way.
I feel this is a great way for students to look back on what they have done throughout the day, week, or month. (I know some of you do this activity for quite some time!) It also allows parents the opportunity to see exactly what their child learned!
Please contact me if there is a country you want to see included that I have left out. I can easily add it for you!

HoJo, I am a first Grade teacher. Could you please include England, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and The Chinese New Year on your journal pages. I cover all these plus the other counties during the holiday season. Thank you. Eileenchen

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have PreK-6th grade experience. I started my teaching adventure by accident. My major was business and electronic commerce, but I started working part-time at a preschool during college. That job made me realize what I was truly meant to do! This fall I will begin teaching 6th grade. However, in the past I have taught Kindergarten, Reading Recovery, Title I math and reading, 5th grade inclusion special education, and a multi-grade classroom of ELL students. I was also the overseer of my first school's special education department. I also teach Asian students during the evenings, weekends, and summer. Using Skype and other online tools, I have taught students from age 6-20. It has been an interesting experience! http://www.eleutian.com/qualify/registers/welcome
