This is an 8 page book for students to make. It is a perfect writing/illustrating project for literacy centers, individual work or Daily 5. It is open-ended and appropriate for all levels pre-k to 2nd. I use it as an introduction to our "Trip Around the World" unit as we begin to pack our suitcases for our adventure. We keep this book inside of our luggage throughout our trip so students remember that they have all the is needed wherever in the world we are!

My kids loved completing this book last year. It was a favorite and will be using it again this year! It was a perfect opening to our Christmas around the world unit. Thank you!

I earned my certification in 2006 as an Early Childhood Generalist. Three years ago, I began a collaborative teaching adventure with Kelly Parrott that we call "Our Smart Community".
