Evan Paquette, a professional Arts Educator and Teaching Artist in New York City, has earned a M.A. in Educational Theater from New York University and a B.A. in English and Theater Arts from Rutgers. Evan has spent the past two years designing and implementing dynamic curricula that use film as a vehicle for helping "at risk" and urban populations improve their critical thinking, reading, and writing skills. In addition to his work designing curricula, Evan has worked as a Teaching Artist for elementary, middle, and high school students in New York City Public Schools. Evan has facilitated professional development workshops and presented his work at New York Universityâ€™s Theater Pedagogy Conference. Professional Affiliations include Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education and The New York State Theatre Education Association.
