This has 3 recipes for Christmas cooking: Christmas Wreath Bagels, Sugar Cone Christmas Trees, and Gingerbread Cookies. The words on the recipes are accompanied by pictures, to help the students with limited reading skills. There are 2 different levels:
1. The students read the sentences and fill in the blanks to complete the recipe. (higher level)
2. The students cut and paste the picture/word into the sentences that are accompanied by pictures. (lower level)
Having the 2 different levels worked wonderfully in my class, as all students were engaged and even the kids with lower reading abilities were able to complete some tasks independently.
