Included in this packet are activities for graphing Christmas M&Ms that are for sale in stores during the holidays. To do this graphing packet you will need a bags of holiday M&Ms in red and green. I also buy at least one bag of the Mint holiday M&Ms so that I have white M&Ms for the graphing. This packet includes sheets for estimating, tallying, graphing (bar graph and pie graph), making fractions and writing about M&M graph data. I've included a harder graphing sheet that asks students to use < > = to analyze their data and an easier version for 1st grade or lower that asks students to do addition with their data. There are also 2 versions of each of those graphs: one that counts up by 1's to 10 on the graph and a second version that counts up by 2's to 20 on the graph. Hopefully these choices make it easier for teachers to differentiate for the learners in their classrooms.
So I really liked this information for graphing, but when i was teaching it and explaining what to do I noticed a lot of spelling errors. Not good for a 1st year teacher to use in her classroom!
So glad you said something. I found one error previously, made the correction and notified buyers to download the updated product. I don’t see any other error and haven’t been notified of one, but I might have missed something. Please email me the error you noticed and I'll send you a freebie! Pick an item from my TPT store and I'll send it- gratis. Thanks for letting me know and helping future teachers from having to make corrections. Ahh, there is always a need for "another set of eyes"! teachergonedigital@gmail.com
