Christmas Math - Numbers and Counting

This is a 34 page unit, it includes the following activities.

"Count the Presents" Numbers 1-5 counting activity. There are four differentiated options with this activity, can be based on students' ability or as a way to advance. The first activity is counting, than writing the number in the box; this is in order (1,2,3,4,5). The next is the same activity with cutting and pasting the number for non-writers. The third activity is counting, than writing the number in the box, but the numbers are mixed up (5,3,1,4,2). The fourth activity is the same but with cutting and pasting for non-writers.

"Count the Ornaments" Numbers 1-10 counting activity. There are four differentiated options with this activity, can be based on students' ability or as a way to advance. The first activity is counting, than writing the number in the box, this is in order (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10). The next is the same activity with cutting and pasting the number for non-writers. The third activity is counting, than writing the number in the box, but the numbers are mixed up (5,3,1,4,2,etc.). The fourth activity is the same but with cutting and pasting for non-writers.

"Count the Candy Canes" - Numbers 1-10 counting activity. Count the candy canes; write the number in the box.

"Christmas Tree Fill In" Fill in the missing number. Counting by ones.

"Odd or Even" -Odd and Even sort for a pocket chart, Velcro board, magnet board, etc. Recording sheet for when students are finished.

"Christmas Tree Fill In" - Numbers 1-20. Counting by twos.

"Match Santa and Mrs. Clause"- Match numbers with their ordinal number word.

"Candy Match" - Draw a line from the number, to the number of candies.
