Persuasive writing is a fun Common Core unit to teach, and this packet makes persuasive writing come alive, with a Christmas twist!!
For those of you that have seen my Halloween and Thanksgiving version, this pack can be used if you teach your persuasive writing later in the year, or you can use the prompts as a fun writing activity around the holidays!
In this pack, you will receive:
6 Christmas themed persuasive writing prompts
-Prompts come in single strips to cut out/pass out or can be posted in your classroom with the colorful prompt posters
2 different versions of a persuasive writing planning page
-1 version is 5 pages long, broken down into individual paragraphs with persuasive planning prompts for guidance
-1 version is a shortened version of the 5 page planning page, broken down into 1 page
9 bright, colorful posters that highlight the different persuasive techniques in a Christmas theme
-These posters can be printed for students' writing folders, or they can be posted in your classroom during your persuasive writing unit
Final copy publishing pages
-14 colorful publishing pages with Christmas backgrounds and borders
-14 black and white publishing pages with cute borders
8 pictures to adhere to publishing pages to create a display inside or outside of your classroom during the Holiday season
