Main Idea: The main idea is unwrapped for students in this fun and interactive PowerPoint lesson. Students will be taught 2 ways to find the main idea: first by looking at the beginning and end of paragraphs, then by finding the topic, and asking what is the author trying to tell me about the topic. Finally, students will be able to practice finding the main idea when being given supporting details.

'Tis the season to tell you how phenomenal this powerpoint bundle is. My kiddos can always use main idea practice. I love how the cause / effect powerpoint has guided practice utilizing t-charts, and the snowman fact and opinion will be a fabulous follow-up to fact / opinion we did right before Thanksgiving (and used your Thanksgiving fact and opinion ppt too!) Every week in December there will be a featured ppt in my classroom thanks to you ladies! My vote is 4.0 all the way along, and this is what this product should be rated!!! Such a bargain for 3 awesome ppts!

We have a subscription to Animation Factory. They are, by far, the most reasonably priced and wide ranging place to find amazing graphics. They've also got VIDEO backgrounds that are to DIE for, which is definitely fun to use in your own classroom.
