This resource pack has everything you need for teaching the text structure of chronological order. You'll receive a teaching guide with helpful tips and suggestions, a chronological order Powerpoint, 9 different texts with activities, 1 additional text, chronological order centers, and a summarizing guide sheet.
Activities for the texts include a before reading page that highlights key vocabulary and aspects of chronological order. During and after reading activities will help students to notice and use the chronological order text structure. Multiple choice and summarizing activities are also included.
High interest topics include monarch butterflies, wood frogs, making Easter eggs, Dolley Madison, Anthony Wayne, Lafayette, and whoopie pies.
