Use this sheet to get students thinking creatively! This file comes with two versions of the same worksheet. One page has boxes around each circle, while the other page does not. Use which ever version you like! I usually use the version without the box, as it allows the students to draw 'outside the box'. I encourage the students to think as creatively as possible.....and to encourage this I usually set a few ground rules like 'only one ball (baseball, basketball, soccer ball, etc), and no double or tripple dipping (no traffic lights, or eye glasses) for example. I also give bonus marks for things that I have never seen before (this encourages students to not copy off of each other).
I started teaching highschool Visual Arts in 1996. I have been a Visual Arts Department Head since 1999. I run a variety of workshops at the school board level, and at provincial conferences.
