Teachers set up "stations" (or tables) in classroom, each with a category, such as "drummer boys", to learn specifics from the American Civil War. Each station might have books, handouts, or even real items about that category. Students use this worksheet to move from station to station reading/learning about each category, taking notes, and drawing a picture. Some other categories on worksheet are "Joining the Army", "Food", "Camp Life", "Weapons," and "Music". Fun and interactive!
