I love to give students choices in their assignments. They seem to do better if they get to pick what they want. It is even better if those choices become a game or extra credit is involved. This activity allows a group of students (3) to pick things that they want to do in the student of the Civil War. Each must pick two activities that they wish to complete, and then IF they pick things that will then create an X-X-X form they can earn extra credit. It gives them a little more incentive.
