When a family is torn apart by the Civil War, what is a brother on one side to do when the battle includes his own home? Wesley faces the true dilemma of choosing between deserting and following orders? Students will engage the tense value conflicts some families faced during the Civil War when loyalty to the North and loyalty to the Confederacy collided. Another example of how content can be engaged through discussion. Watch how the most retiring students get involved. A 12 minute video is available. Details at SamuelGomberg@aol.com.
