This is a study guide - or "learning goals" for a unit on classification. I give this to students at the beginning of the unit - so they know ahead of time what they need to learn to be successful. I also have parents sign these handouts - to give them the opportunity to see what their son/daughter is learning in science. I have found that these unit learning goals have greatly improved student achievement. I have learning goals available for every unit for my life science curriculum.
I think this is a great idea to hand out at the beginning of a new chapter/ unit. It gives clear expectations to students and acts as a helpful study guide!

This is a great tool. I may need to adjust it for my 3rd graders, but a wonderful guide. Thank you.

Great idea for a study guide. I'm glad it is not in PDF so I can revise it to meet my needs.

Hi! I'm the "pi" part of my name who actually sells on TPT. I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done! I have a just one suggestion that might help to better market this product. Create a cover page which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. I love the way you used graphics and color to make the study guide more appealing.
I hope you will have time to rate one of my freebies listed below.
