Lesson Plan: Classifying 2D Shapes in Geometry Worksheet Activity for Students
Common Core Math Standard: Geometry
Do your students have difficulty when recognizing and being able to classify 2D shapes? This is a fun activity for the students to do that will teach them this skill. The 2D shapes included are: Square, Right triangle, Hexagon, Pentagon, Trapezoid, Acute triangle, Rectangle, Rhombus, Obtuse triangle, Equilateral triangle, Octagon, and Parallelogram.
