I used these recipes in a kids ESL classroom in Korea and they worked marvellously. Each card is set up well for teaching key English terms and the food was tasty and worked well as a cultural lesson. A few of the ingredients weren't easy to find here, but there was enough variety in the different recipes provided that I could still use the package. Thanks for the great lessons!

I was very happy to find this project. I had a birthday party for my 9-yr old daughter. I thought it would be fun to have each child make their own treat. This project worked perfectly. The children were able to follow the recipe, with only a small problem with the pinch of salt, some added too much. I look forward to doing more recipes!

What a cute idea. I've been looking for something like this to use with my daycare. I plan on printing up on card stock and laminating. The recipes are cute, and something the kids will enjoy.
Thanks
Jean

This is a good resource for cooking lessons with students who are struggling readers. The way in which these recipes are presented using visual supports is great.

Thanks so much for providing such a wonderful tool for cooking with children! I used the Gingerbread recipe with a group of 13 three year olds, and it worked really well. The kids enjoyed it and they tasted delicious! It would work well for kids of any age, I believe. I can't wait to try the other recipes!
Rachel was very helpful and responded immediately when I had trouble with the words and graphics of one recipe on my computer. Parts of recipes 6 & 7 were missing when I read them with my Mac. As soon as I opened them on my husband's PC, there was no problem...just in case you run into the same problem.

The gingerbread man recipe is missing most of its written content...ingredients, instructions, etc. Could you please send me a good copy of this recipe? I have not tried the recipes yet, but will happily leave some feedback after I try them. Thanks,

I wonder what happened. I'll check the file and make sure it is okay.
Meanwhile, I am sending it to you directly. Thanks for letting me know!
