RE: Connect Four template
I just answered my own question! It doesn't work on my Mac (OSX.4) Office for Mac, but works just fine on the PC. Great game, though! And yes, each blue circle is connected to a specific slide, so 3 samples are connected to 3 specific blue dots. . . just in case others have my same issues.

Thank you for letting me know about this issue. I have tested it on both PCs and Macs and have not encountered an issue to this point. I will see if there is anything I can do to resolve this issue.

RE: Connect Four template
I put 3 sample questions in to test it before adding all the question slides and then clicked on a random blue circle to test it out, and nothing happens. I never get a blue circle with both a black and red marker. Can you advise? Do I have to fill out all 30 slides before I can test it? I did click on all the blue circles, but nothing!

Once you purchase the game, you should be provided with the opportunity to download the file. If you are having problems downloading a file from TpT, please contact Paul at info@teacherspayteachers.com.

This game is not set up to be a template - it is specific to the digestive system. There are many animations and triggers that were used to make the letters appear - too complicated to easily explain. If you have a game that you would like made using this style, feel free to send me your questions and answers at swood1028@yahoo.com and I can create a game for you.

I paid for and downloaded Family Feud TA/MC and it works well, with the exception of changing the teams scores while in slide show mode. Your walkthrough says that you can but when I try to highlight the number to change it, it proceeds to the net page. Is there a way to fix this?

Trying clicking inside the box and hitting the delete key or the backspace key. If this does not work, e-mail the file you are using (swood1028@yahoo.com) and I can see what may be causing the problem.

I have the animations set up through triggers so that when you click on a letter at the bottom, specific animations will take place.

Hi Sarah, I just purchased the Family Feud power point template. I have typed my questions and answers into the slides. When I run the slide show, nothing happens when I click on the buttons on the game board slide. Also, is it possible to add more than eight questions? Please advise. Thank you for your time.

The game is only set up for 8 questions. You may add additional questions if you want by adding (copying and pasting) the question buttons on the game board slide and copying and pasting the question slides to create new ones. Make sure you have your macro security setting set to medium if the questions are not working correctly. Feel free to send me an e-mail at swood1028@yahoo.com if you are still having problems.

Sarah,
I just recently purchased your Family Fued to modify for my Church lessons.
I love this game but would really like to make a couple of changes on
the squares where the answers go. I would like to be able to put more
than one correct answer, without them showing in the beginning. Please help me if you can. I really love this game!

I am glad you like it! For creating more than one correct answer, probably the easiest thing to do is to copy and paste one of the correct answer boxes and then delete one of the incorrect answer boxes. I am not sure what you mean by not showing them in the beginning...If you have any other questions, feel free to e-mail me at swood1028@yahoo.com

You need to make sure that macros are enabled (see the direction sheet that is included in the .zip file) and then you will be able to click in the white squares on slide 2 and type in the score. You will have to click in this box and change the score each time as it is just a text box.

I have downloaded similar games that do not work as they should on a Mac. I have gotten pop-ups that say this game cannot be activated because powerpoint does not support active-x. It can be modified to whatever you need as it is a PowerPoint presentation. The "Family Feud" title is an image, but you could delete it and insert a text box and add a new title if you wanted.

I am interested in your template for Family Feud. I teach adult school bus drivers about school bus safety and I am looking for something fun to do at the end of my presentation. Is your template adaptable for adults? Do you think it would work for this? Let me know when you can.
Thanks, Becki

It would most definitely be adaptable. It is a multiple choice game. If you have questions you would like to review with your students, it would work perfectly. You can download the free preview to get an idea of how it works and see if it will work for your class.

I downloaded the Connect Four game, but it doesn't work. I get the "Let's Get Started" slide, then I click and get a gameboard, but there are no red and black pieces to click on. If I hit spacebar, it goes to the first question. I tried going to the first question and then back to the board. It worked, but there were still no red and black pieces.

When you get to the gameboard, you will first have to select a circle (just click on any blue circle). This will take you to a question and once the question is answered, click on the "Return to Gameboard" button. A red and black circle will appear in the blue circle you originally clicked in. Select either a red or black circle to replace the blue square (you will want to have your class divided into 2 teams). Then you will be able to choose a different blue circle. Let me know if this does not fix the problem you were having (you can contact me at swood1028@yahoo.com).

When opening the game we get a warning that says, "Some controls on this presentation cannot be activated because powerpoint does not support active-x" And when it opens, it does not seem to be fully functional. Next, after reading through the instructions then exiting from them, it is no longer possible to open them. My wife's computer is a Mac OS2. Any help would be appreciated... and if the is no help available, we would appreciate a refund of our purchase. Thank you and we look forward to hearing back from you. Our e-mail is wdg_5@yahoo.com

After starting to play the games and answering the first couple of questions, I pressed the Restart Game button. This took me back to the gameboard, as if I had never played. However, if I select the questions I first did (before hitting Restart), those screens appear with the responses I had given the first time through. The only way I could get a complete reset was to end the game. Is this suppose to work this way or am I doing something wrong? Thank you, Carol
