Creating a Classroom Cheer Box is a motivating student incentive and an easy way to build self confidence in your students. All kids love to be recognized for doing something positive. What better way to celebrate them then giving them a cheer from their teacher and peers? These cheer cards will make them want to participate and strive to do their best in your classroom. You will be amazed at how motivating it will be! This is a perfect way to start the beginning of the year!
Each cheer card has the name of the cheer and directions for how to do it. Once the class learns them, all you will have to do is call out the name of the cheer that was selected and the entire class will start right in. Everyone walking by your room will be peeking in to witness the camaraderie and team spirit!

I've been using "Kiss your Brain" and "Round of Applause" but had no idea all these different cheers existed! Some first graders REALLY need a confidence boost and these are great!

I love your cheer cards, however when I printed them they came out so dark that I cannot read the cheers. Can you change the background color or just leave it blank? I think my first graders would love to cheer each other on!

Great Melanie this is good to know...let me work on that today and I will update them and have an email sent to purchasers so you know there has been a change made and they are ready to be reprinted. I hadn't thought aut printing them in black and white! Thanks for the feedback. Can you let me know if the change works better once you reprint?
