This is just one page of three signs that I use to manage the talking within the classroom. I laminate them, put a magnet on the back, and then put them on my whiteboard.
Chat Softly is used when there is allowed to be talking within the classroom.
Whisper is used when the students are allowed to quietly ask each other questions or work together.
No Talking is used when there is quiet work time.
