My students LOVE to use a clipboard, and it's often an easy way to manage a literacy center when students are given a task to complete independently on a clipboard. Thus, I created a variety of literacy activities that could be used at a center, during Daily 5, as reading response activities, or just to support content.
In this 20 page printable, you will find 18 pages of ready-to-go activities that include:
- 4 reading response-type logs
- 3 making words activities/templates
- 2 templates for sticker-stories (1 of which is front and back)
- 1 sight-word search activity
- 5 write/read-the-room activities (2 of which are front and back)
*Please note that some activities were created so that you can write in the blends, letters, or words you want your students to work with!

If doing that doesn't work, try these options: - If you're a Mac user, switch browsers (i.e. if you're currently opening in Firefox, try opening in Internet Explorer or Safari) - Make sure you check Adobe under "open with" to verify that that Adobe is the program you're using to open the document and not "preview" - Try opening the document from an entirely different computer (open directly from TpT) Please let me know if any of these option help and, if they don't, you'll have to contact TpT for a refund (sellers don't handle anything money-related). I have taught first grade for 20 years and didnt think that I would need directions for these activities. However, Ive found that I do. I actually contacted TpT about this issue and they said that my documents require the latest download of Adobe in order to be seen clearly. If you are a MAC user, it requires Adobe Reader X. I just love your "clipboard activities" that I just purchased but once again I am having difficulty with the download. I am getting that same "blackout" on areas where there is text! Have you had anyone else that has this problem? I really want to figure out why this is happening!?!
