A quick and easy assessment for preschool, elementary school, ESL, and special education students. These clothespin assessments can be used to monitor counting, numeral/letter recognition, beginning phonics sounds, sight words, and more! It also is a great fine motor activity for students working on hand strength - a precursor to future handwriting skills.
The teacher labels each clothespin with the appropriate letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, shapes, or colors. Students then match each clothespin to the correct box.
This activity is designed for use with clothespins but can be expanded for use with a variety of items - use whiteboard markers to circle each item and write the letter/number/color word, match to flashcards, or even use as a BINGO board!
Thanks. I'm a special education teacher but I love hearing that related service providers can use these products too!

My students LOVED these activities and it's good for fine motor too as they use pincher grasp to clip on clothespins to the right answer. Thx for sharing!
This is a great "go to" center. I love the ease of checking it!
