This activity looks at the Codes of Law that Hammurabi created during his time period. Students rotate between 8 stations to look at a scenario and try to figure out how Hammurabi would have "handled" the situation. A great way to have students rotate through groups and work together. This has been a "team favorite" for years from former students.

This is a great activity to get my kids up and moving for a bit. I do wish that it had included a page of sample legal codes. The textbook I'm using talks about Hammurabi but doesn't give any examples of his codes. I was kind of hoping to find a page of them here! Other than that... I love it!
