This is a bundled collection of my collective noun domino cards for the three categories -
people,
animals and
things. Altogether, these cards have a total of eighty pairs of collective nouns and their matching plural nouns, some of them are: a swarm of bees, a flock of birds, an army of ants, a herd of cattle, a gaggle of geese, an army of soldiers, a band of musicians, a class of students, a staff of teachers, a bouquet of flowers, a fleet of ships, a pack of cards, etc. Use them to keep your students engaged in a fun activity that encourages reading and matching. This game is ideal for re-teaching and reinforcement of collective nouns. Each card is illustrated to help visual learners. Encourage students to read each card as they match them (especially auditory learners).
Fulfills the CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.2.1a Use collective nouns (e.g., group).
See each of my collective noun matching games separately for
animals,
people and
things here!
