Here is a fun Fall unit that is appropriate for school - especially where you cannot celebrate Halloween. At our school, we cannot teach Halloween themes so I concentrate on spiders, bats, pumpkins and scarecrows in October. this unit has a ton of great spider themed activities, with bright colors, but nothing that would cause any religious objections, so all students can participate!
Included are beginning sounds, rhyming words, sight words, cvc words and a color words emergent reader as well as Fact vs Opinion, KWL and Can/Have/Are charts. For Math there's skip counting, patterning, comparing numbers, basic addition, and graphing. Oh and I included a craftivity too!
