This activity allows students to visit centers in order to complete the handout on the different items traded from the different places in the Columbian Exchange Trade Route. Items can be printed on card stock, laminated, and can be placed in containers for students to draw out and add to their handout as they visit each location. Student handout and trade item cards included as well as maps for each location and review questions from the Age of Exploration. Full color pictures. Review powerpoint is also included to assist in beginning and going over the activity for correct information.
Thank you for the revisions! When I purchased this I needed something I could implement without a lot of prep -- the original version didn't give me that, but now I know I have a great lesson for this standard for next year.

Help
The direction refer to a powerpoint. Where it is and is in not included in the original price?
Also, it would be helpful to have the answer key as part of the product.

I added the Powerpoint and the download is now a zip file. The answer key is a slide in the Ppt for class review. Thanks for calling my attention to this. It makes much more sense for the powerpoint to go with the activity. Thanks again! :)

Each set of cards is for one of the stops in the Columbian Exchange. I cut up the cards and place them in a box at stations for each of the stops. My students "travel" around the room, drawing out of a container I created for each the goods they would find there. I also place maps of each region at the centers and place geography review questions for students to complete as they visit. There are many other options for the activity, but this is my favorite.
