Learning how to use commas correctly does not have to be boring! These motivating worksheets will make kids laugh while they learn how to punctuate properly. The worksheets give rules and opportunities for practice using funny sentences that will keep kids interested.
This bundle includes 18 pages that are broken into six mini-units of three pages each. Each mini unit focuses on a different rule and includes two practice worksheets and a short, multiple choice, bubble-style quiz. The last unit is a mix of all the rules learned. There is also a unit on proper use of end marks.
Rules covered are:
-Commas and words or phrases in series
-Commas with consecutive adjectives
-Commas before small conjunctions
-Commas after an introductory word or phrase
-Commas and dates
-Commas and places
-Punctuation for the ends of sentences
This bundle will work for you if you are okay with a light-hearted and humorous approach. If you are more on the conservative side, these are probably not for you.

My passion is creating high quality, ready-to-use teaching resources. I believe our future depends on our children being able to think creatively and critically, so I incorporate higher level thinking skills into almost everything I create.
Most of my experience is in gifted education grades 1-4. But I have also taught regular education to all elementary grade levels. I've taught workshops on writing and have had extensive experience teaching elementary science as well as technology.
I have also written a series of 6 creative and critical thinking books for Evan-Moor as well as several other books of teacher materials.
In addition, I am a published author of over 100 nonfiction books for children on a variety of subjects.
You can see the books I've written here:

I am also the author of several blogs:

(FacilitatingCreative and Critical Thinking Skills)
SoS on TpT
(Tips and Strategies for selling successfully on TpT)
"Quotes" for Teachers
(An organized collection of quotes to use in your classroom)
I am also an administrator on:
"Tchr2Tchr

And of course there is also Facebook and Twitter
