To help keep the posters organized each set of standards has a picture in the top left corner. This picture is the same on the standard signs.
I've also included 11 display signs, one for each set of posters.

To help you keep track of the standards through the year there is also a Standards Check List. You can write the date of instruction, or the date your students master that standard.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
A classroom is a magical place. Engaging, young students enter, ready to learn and mature, confident students leave, more ready to take on the world. My classroom has always been my home away from home. It's important to make a classroom a warm and inviting place for the students and teacher. After all, such a large part of your day and your year is spent within those four walls! I love watching those "light bulbs" go on as students grasp the big idea of the lessons I've planned. The challenge is planning lessons and units that are engaging and academically sound I love that challenge! Through my carreer I've seen many changes, but none as great as the transition to the new Common Core State Standards. My goal is to use my experiences to create engaging, meaningful, and academic based units and materials for classroom teachers. My 30+ years of teaching have included 1st grade, Special Education-Resource program (K-8), 4th grade and my true love- 3rd grade.
