This product for 3rd grade includes all the common core standards for Language Arts and Math, and each are written in an "I can" statements.
This document will make your planning so much easier! Many of us must post our standards in the classroom these days, so these color-coded posters will make sifting through tons of standards a thing of the past. Each language strand is organized by a background color pattern. Each math strand is also organized by its own background color pattern. The numbers of each standard are at the bottom which helps keep all of the like strands together, when you first print them out.
If I am teaching geometry, for example, I can quickly and easily locate those two standards by their color, and I don't have to file through the complete set of standards.
I print these in color, laminate them, then use a 3-hole punch to punch evenly spaced holes. However, I only use the middle hole and put them on a 1 inch ring. These posters flip easily to find the standard for the day. On my whiteboard, I will hang my language arts standards next to my math ones, and whatever standard I am teaching that day will be showing.
