*This is the Math and Language Arts CCSS Checklist bundled together!
This Common Core State Standards checklist is for 2nd grade and has both the Language Arts and Math. It's a great way to organize the Common Core and to make sure you are teaching every part of the core. It's a perfect tool to keep you organized and aware of your students' mastery in each part of the Common Core ELA and MATH. Once you teach a standard, just write the date and check it off!
I looked at a ton of these before I settled on this one- it's everything I was looking for. Stylish but not too cute, professional and down to business- the equivalent of a great pair of black heels for work!
I am very excited to get started with this product!

I understand that there are two sets of Common Core standards - one being used in the western part of the country, and one being used in the east. I'm in Florida - are these standards aligned? Without being able to get a close up view, I can't tell!
thanks,
Holly
That's not necessarily true. It's actually up to each state. If your state has adopted the CCSS, they can change it up to %20 and it can still be called the Common Core. I took the Common Core State Standards directly from the official website. So, if you want to, you can look at the standards on this site and compare them to yours. If they're the same, then this product will be perfect for you! :)

Hello! I had a teachers meeting today and we were refered to you for a common core checklists. One of my friends was possibly wanting to purchase one for fourth grade. Will you be making a fourth grade checklist. I will email her your link. Thanks!
Yes! Well, my blogging partner has made them for 4th grade! Here's the link:

Hello! I absolutely LOVE this! I was wondering if there was a typo in the language section. I checked a few common core resources and I found L.2.4d being "Use knowledge of the meaning of individual words to predict the meaning of compound words (e.g. birdhouse, lighthouse, housefly, bookshelf, notebook, bookmark) and L.2.4e being "Use glossaries and beginning dictionaries, both print and digital, to determin or clarify the meaning of words and phrases." If it's not too much trouble, could you adjust the checklist when you have time? We are doing a standards based report card and need to collect proof of learning and I'm using your awesome checklist along with student samples as my proof. Thanks so much!!!
