Many are from an old cd. The smiley faces are from clip art with publisher but I was just checking the other day and I am not sure I can use those so I may have to change them. As I have learned more about copyright I am trying to check everything. The math assessments were the first product I posted so I need to look at it closely if I can ever get some extra time.

I purchased these.
Could you please label the 2-4 nine weeks in the heading like you did the first nine weeks. I tried to add it but I cannot. I don't want to get them mixed-up in the student's files. It would also be nice to have Pre or Post Test on them. I could circle which one it is instead of writing on the test.
Thanks,
Deanna
Deanna,
Send me your email and I will add that for you. I can add the Pre/Post Test as well.

In your classroom, in what order do you cover the 4 Common Core 2nd grade standards?
This will help so I will know how you have aligned the tests. Thank you so much!

Anita,
If you will send me your email I will send you a copy of my district math calendar. I helped to create the calendar and follow it. I think it might be helpful for you to see because I aligned my assessments with the calendar which is aligned to core. dmoran12@cox.net

I would love to buy your common core math assessments but I am unable to open a zip file on my school computer. I bought something from another seller and couldn't open it up. If I buy it and it doesn't open, can you send it to me another way?

How specifically does this assessment meet the needs of third grade? I teach 3rd and need assessments for only my grade - the CCSS are very different from 2nd to 3rd, so I am wondering if perhaps these assessments are geared for proficient and above proficient students in 2nd grade ???
Yes common core is different from grade to grade and these assessments include skills a second grader should master by the end of the year. I included third grade because perhaps they would like to give a quick assessment at the beginning of the year to assess where their students are at in math. Also, if I have a struggling student these assessments are a great tool to provide additional documentation for both yourself and parents; they do not need to be given to entire class. I often look for assessments from first grade to impress upon a parent exactly where their child is performing academically. For a student going through RTI it can also give you more info but more importantly when they ask what are you doing to intervene the more data you have the better! I included a couple of skills, recognizing and counting money that is not core for second. We are to only solve story problems with money. However, until we have fully implemented core I must assess this because they do not know money and many still struggle with money when they leave second. Finally, I chose to include third for those teachers seeking further ways to assess for many of the reasons listed.

I love your test. Did you use it as a pretest and posttest? Thanks
Thanks Susan! I only use it as a post test. I created the 4 tests...one for each 9 weeks and to be cumulative. I had thought about creating a shorter version of each to give as a pretest.

Thank you for providing this assessment! It looks great. I can only seem to download the first test, however. Is there a trick I am missing? Thanks! --Julie
