This packet includes quick math assessments for every 1st grade Common Core Math Standard. The packet is perfect for creating a Math Assessment binder. It includes a cover page for your binder, all of the Common Core Standards, and at least one assessment for each standard. This packet also includes whole class record keeping charts and an individual student chart.
Thank you for taking the time to help those of us that can utilize your fun, colorful and very useful content. I have been out of the classroom for a few years, this purchase will help me reach CCSS which is *new* to me.
This packet has done a really great job of keeping me on track with the common core. You can see how I'm using it in my portfolios on my blog - www.handmadefirstgrade.weebly.com

I am moving to second grade from first grade and wanted to know if the assessment are similar as I noticed that the sample pages are the same?
Many of them are similar or the same because the standards are very similar or the same. Would you mind sending me an email at Jodimastics@hotmail.com? Thanks.

love love love both of your assessment packets!!! ... I'm wondering what is the grading scale/rubric you use for the making shapes with pattern blocks timely? 1.G.2 (I had one student use two squares and triangle to make house and another student use multiples of all the shapes to make herself and her mom. :)

Hi, Are these core standards similar to the Canadian ones? I teach grade 1 in Vancouver BC, and was just wondering if you might know the answer to this?
This looks like an amazing resource. I was wondering - are the standards printed on the assessments themselves? I would like to use these for my student portfolios and but our school wants us to have the standard actually on each portfolio piece.
Why do the zeros have tiny 1's in them? It was confusing to many of my first graders, they wanted to add the 1. Why are the fours made like a sail (4) instead of straight down on both sides open at the top? It doesn't seem like that is the normal way to write it.
Hi lady! I love your product. I was wondering if you could tell me how many assessments are included in the 65 slides. It it about half. 1 slide for the standard, and 1 slide for the assessment? I want to buy both the Language Arts and the Math, but wanted to check first. Thanks!
It really varies on the standard. Each standard has a full assessment so some have 3 or 4, while others has more than that.

Hey! I just got moved from first to K. I had almost bought this assessment packet. Do you think you will create a language arts and math assessment packet for Kindergarten?
Hi Jodi! I was wondering if you had a preview of more of your assessments? I am interested but want to see previews before I make the purchase of both the Math and Language Arts Assessments. My email is ashlyn1214@hotmail.com Thanks!
I have been a teacher for 10 years. I have taught Art, 1st grade and 3rd grade, but my heart is definitely in 1st. I love to create things that I think will make learning more fun for my students.
