This includes 30 spelling lists. These 30 lists will provide spelling words, weekly contracts, and activities for one school year. Each week includes a 3 part word list (no excuses words, pattern words, and challenge words). The lists are part of a weekly contract where students have all week to complete 3 activities that make a tic-tac-toe on the list. The activities alternate for odd and even weeks.

I like the way you set up your spelling list. My question is where did you get your spelling words and are they appropriate for a class of 4/5 grade students? If need be, can I edit the lists?
I combined several resources that I had used separately. The only thing that ,iChat be too easy for 5th would be the no excuses words. If you purchase the PDF and want to make changes I will be glad to email you the original in ms publisher. Just let me know. Thanks for asking.

It would be great to see a list of the spelling patterns you used for the year. I teach third grade and I see that a large chunk of common core is based on assuming kids are in the syllables and affixes stage. I would hate to buy this product and not be able to use it or have to reinvent the wheel. This is what I have been looking for, but I am still not sure this is everything I wanted. Can you forward me a list of the types you used each week? Those thumbnails are way to small for me to judge. Thanks!
The spelling lists are in 3 parts--no excuses words (sight words, not hard at all), pattern words (grade level appropriate), and challenge words (teacher's choice)... I used these with my class last year and about 75% of my 4th grade class was below grade level. For my EC/modifications they only had to do the no excuses words and some only did half of the pattern words list plus the no excuses words, and some did all the words. It was easy for me to differentiate that way. I hope this helps. ~ Cara
