This is a comprehensive document to help you keep track of when you teach each of the Common Core Standards for FIRST GRADE!
I have color coded each of the Common Core Standards Strands for ELA and MATH.
The checklists can be used to document when you teach each standard, as well as when you assess each standard. You can decide what is best for your needs.

This is very helpful to track teaching the common core standards, also it helps with the new teacher evaluation system to show you are addressing the standards in your classroom. With teaching special education I teach several grade levels and this helps to know where I am meeting their needs through differentiated instruction across grade levels.

The checklists contain CC standards for ELA (foundational skills, informational text,language, literature, listening and speaking and writing). They also contain grade level Math CC standards. I did not include science and social studies.

I have been a teacher in Southern California for 15 years. I have spent the last 12 years teaching first grade and this is my second year teaching second grade. I am loving every minute of it. I have been the Gifted and ELD Coordinator at my site. I am currently the Elemenatry Coordinator at a K-12 Magnet School.
